In keeping with the caliber of the planning work, several of the best architectural firms in the Northeast were asked to develop the architectural guidelines for Brewster Point.
These included:
Robert Orr & Associates, New Haven, Connecticut
Bernhard & Priestley Architecture, Rockport, Maine
Royal Berry Wills, Boston, Massachusetts
Elliott Elliott Norelius Architecture, Blue Hill, Maine
Eck MacNeely Architects, Boston, Massachusetts
Each firm was commissioned to design homes for one or two sites on the property. The criteria were to design homes that were important but appropriate to the understated New England context, gracious and supportive of each other, and of very high quality.

The firms’ designs were evaluated and the best work was incorporated into the Brewster Point Architectural Guidelines. |
